Templin Historical Museum

Aratula CWA Building

Originally located on the Warwick Road (Cunningham Highway), the building started its life as a butcher’s shop. Sometime in the late 1930s the building was moved a few streets away and as used by the Aratula Branch of the QCWA as rest rooms and a meeting venue. After the closure of the branch, the Queensland Country Women’s Association donated the building and it was moved to Templin in 2015.

Museum volunteers restored the building to its former glory. The building is used by both Templin Museum and several local groups as a meeting venue.
